HOTPOT

Ingredients
Ingredients2 onions
300g carrots
1kg potatoes
450g lean minced beef
2 beef stock cubes
400g can baked beans
splash of Worcestershire sauce
handful of roughly chopped parsley (optional)

Cut each onion into eight wedges. Roughly chop the carrots and cut the potatoes into large chunks. Put the kettle on.
Heat a large non-stick pan, add the mince and fry quickly, stirring all the time, until evenly browned. Crumble in the stock cubes and mix well. Add the prepared vegetables, stir them around, then pour in 900ml/11⁄2 pints of hot water from the kettle. Bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes, until the veg are tender. Stir in the baked beans and a generous splash of Worcestershire sauce and heat through. Taste and add salt and pepper if necessary.
Scatter over the parsley, then ladle the hotpot into bowls. Put the Worcestershire sauce bottle on the table in case anyone fancies a bit more spice.

summer taco salad

2 pounds of hamburger meat
2 packs of taco seasoning
1 head of lettuce
tomatoes [1 or 2 large ones or however many u like]
shredded cheese [1 or 2 pounds depending on ur taste]
2 cups of 1000 island dressing

fry hamburger meat and drain until meat is dry [very important when u refrigderate fat wont clump]
add seasoning--follow directions on package
set aside

in large bowl cut lettuce and tomatoes in bite size pieces
add cheese and meat then dressing and mix very well so dressing coats everything

serve warm or cold over chips [corn chips or nacho chips are best]

these are basic ingredients feel free to add peppers or green onion or whatever u like.

now I know ur probably saying yuck to the dressing [rich did at first too] but the dressing is what ties this together IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES TO PICKLES DON'T TRY THIS RECIPE.

Bacon Onion and Tatty

Ok this one i cant do weights for as I just do it and there is always enough for ev1, you will need Bacon, Onion and tatties and cheese if you want but it is opptional, first off you need a roasting tin or oven dish lager enough for the amount of peeps you are cooking for then slice some of the tatty into the bottom enough to cover it then slice some onion and do the same then lay a layer of bacon on top repeat this untill the tin or dish is full and put a few rashers of bacon on the top and cover with tin foil put in the oven on gas mark 5 for untill the tatty at the bottom is soft then take the tin foil off and if u want to add cheese you can at this point then put back in till the top layer has browned, chrispy or if u added cheese the cheese has melted.

DO NOT ADD OIL OR FAT THE FAT IN THE BACON WILL COOK THE TATTY AND ONION SO IT IS NOT NEEDED.
